In connection with endocrine diseases
General information
People with endocrine (autism) disorders have the same risk of contracting Covid-19 compared to the rest of the population. However, they are at a higher risk of dying from it. Therefore, special protection is necessary.

Thyroid disease: Continue thyroid hormones unchanged. Adrenal insufficiency: increase hydrocortisone temporarily up to 100 mg/day (2/3 in the morning, 1/3 in the evening); possibly intra-venous hydrocortisone continuous infusion. Diabetes mellitus (insulin-dependent): adjust insulin dose if necessary; regular blood glucose monitoring in type 2. Osteoporosis and Prolia therapy: no changes necessary.
