Often, couples with a desire to have children are completely unsettled or desperate due to many years of non-fulfillment. Anamnesis is followed by hormone tests. Most important here are the thyroid gland, the gonads (germ/sex glands) and the pituitary gland. For men, a spermiogram can also be performed (according to WHO standard).

Often, the most accurate possible adjustment of the thyroid gland already leads to significantly improved fertility. The determination of the thyroid values takes place in our in-house laboratory – the result is therefore already available after a few days. For patients who come from an IVF center, this fine tuning of the thyroid gland leads to better implantation results.
